Checker Cab in the Kansas City metropolitan area is one
of the best cab services I have used. All of their drivers are polite and
helpful. On many occasions I have had groceries and they helped me to my front
door with them.
Another thing I love about Checker Cab taxi service is
the ease of paying with a credit or debit card. They have a TV screen attached
to the back seat along with a credit card machine. You can add in the tip and
get a receipt. This is great and one of the main reasons I continue to use
their services.
In addition, every driver calls you as soon as they are
assigned to your trip. This is extremely helpful, so you are not just waiting
and wonder when they will be there to pick you up. Plus, the driver will let
you know how far out they are and an ETA.
They even have this great service of ordering a pink cab
for a girl’s night out or any other event. Checker Cab donates proceeds to the
Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help fight breast cancer. I love this idea a lot
and hope more cab companies would do the same.
There is only one complaint, which is the cab vehicles
tend to be slightly dirty. This has been the case in about half of the cabs
that have picked me up. In all, I feel they are a great taxi service and have
strongly recommended them to friends, as I will continue to do.
