The FCC is Proof People Want to be Lead

The FCC (FederalCommunications Commission) was created in 1934 by the Communications Act of 1934 to protect U.S. citizens by regulating all facets of any use of radio spectrum. This includes radio, TV, cable, CB, internet, national and international uses, plus others. Their huge budget ($335.8 million in 2011) is funded by all the regulatory fee and fines. This could explain why they are so erroneously high, such as hundreds of thousands for uttering a “curse” word on air (radio or TV). The FCC is there to save us and our kids from seeing boobies, vagina, penis and from hearing words, such as shit and fuck. I mean our eyes might pop out of our heads and our ears may melt from this.

I am not a Sarah Palin fan but she used a great word combo to explain U.S. citizens; Sheeple (sheep and people). There is no real need for the FCC or any other organization to save us from things we might see or hear. The last time I checked all electronics (TV, radio, laptop, computer, iPod, iPad, SiriusXM, and smartphones all have an OFF BUTTON; plus you can just change it to something else.

The FCC has become a lazy and “pass-the-buck” way of raising kids. Too many parents are relying in the FCC to say what is or isn’t okay for their children to view or hear instead of teaching their kids what is right/wrong depending on their own household values. Why are people so afraid to think for theirselves? Why would they rather be TOLD what to do, say, watch, or listen to?

Sometimes it seems like we are becoming a country of mindless zombies that can’t commit to a way of live unless it is approved by others. I mean look how easy it is for cult leader to slither in and take control of large amounts of people. There was Jones Town{Jim Jones}, the Branch Davidian compound in Waco-TX {David Koresh}, and so many others.

They want to be given morality and decency. Are people really that devoid of it on their own? Or are they just sheeple and afraid to stray away from the flock in fear of feeling like an outcast or rebel? I hope it is the later, because otherwise this country is a much scarier place that most think.

American Truck Drivers - The Disrespected That Don’t Want Respect

The American Truck Driver: this usually pulls up images in people’s minds of 18-wheeled semis tearing down the interstate, the big burly driver with his canine companion in the passenger’s seat, and the use of CB terms, such as 10-4 and good buddy. What most don’t realize is just how important they actually are in literally keeping America moving. Truckers deliver the majority of all goods in this country (and this is the same around the world). If just half of all truck drivers went on strike or decided not to work for a few weeks, this country would come close to buckling. It would be so bad that the president would more than likely order them back to work.

Look at everything around you: your clothes, shoes, food, the materials to build your domicile/place of work, your TV, toilet paper, lamps, sofa, desk…all have been hauled at one point in their existence by a truck driver before entering into your life. Now imagine if truckers stopped working. How would you get anything you needed? Who would deliver grocery and retail inventory to your favorite stores? Who would deliver beef cattle, chicken, and pigs to the slaughter house to become your ground beef, bacon or chicken nuggets? Who would get the fuel to the gas stations or transport new cars to the dealers? The answer is NO ONE. Sure there could be small amounts of things delivered by people with pick-up trucks and trailers to local grocers and such, but it would not be enough to keep the economy going.

Now having told you how truck drivers are the lifeline of America, how do you think they are treated? What do you think that do with all this power? Well, it is really pathetic. Drivers are treated extremely poor. They are treated like babies: every moment has to be tracked in log books, even when they are at home and not on the truck. Every minute has to be accounted for, for as long as they are drivers. They are limited as to how much they can work in a weeks’ time, 70 hours or less (if a driver goes over this they will be fined and could even be fired). Do you think a CEO, doctor, or even a McDonald’s employee would stand for that? No, of course not. Now, with new laws and regulations enacted in 2010, drivers are suddenly responsible for defects on their company issued trucks. For example, if a company has not serviced a truck and the steering wheel horn is out, but the big air horn works, the driver – not the company gets the ticket. Until now it the ticket went to the owner of the truck, not the employee who has no say-so over the equipment. What have truckers done about this you ask? Nothing but piss and moan about it.

See, even though truck drivers are the heartbeat of America, they demand zero respect. They industry is filled with drivers doing all sorts of free work, such as fueling, checking/airing up tires, cleaning out trailers, securing freight if the shipper did not secure their own load, and much more. This would be the equivalent of your boss telling you that in order to keep your job you have to work extra hours without pay and the government allowing it. The sad part of all this is that truck drivers accept the bad treatment because they are completely divided in every way. There is a race division, region division, owner-operator/company driver division, and even company to company division.

Drivers could gain a hold of their industry if only they were not so divided and cared about being respected for the work they do. Instead, they just sit day after day in the driver’s seat and do nothing more than complain about the high fuel costs, regulations, their treatment, and each other. Maybe one day they will see their value to this country can get together to make something happen for the Trucking industry, though I don’t hold out much hope.

Promiscuity is A-OK as Long as No One Gets Paid

We live in a very schizophrenic society. Women and men can have as many sex partners as they wish and yes the woman will be looked at like a bad person and/or called names like slut or whore. Most men have it easier and at worst are looked at like playboys and/or not marriage material. These women and men can use their bodies to do any type of sex act they wish with whatever willing adult partner they wish. Where a problem occurs is if these same adults just happen to exchange monies.

You can go to a tattoo shop and have you entire body covered with ink and modify your body with embedded horns, balls and what not or pierce every inch of your face or lay on the plastic surgeons table to have triple H boob implants or even become another gender than what you were born as….Who the hell are these archaic people saying a man or woman can’t sell their own body if that is what they want to do? Why are they okay with drinking oneself into liver cancer or smoking until you can’t breathe without assistance? Could it be because of alcohol and tobacco lobbyists?

If the people outlawing prostitution would only crawl out of the asses of their political/religious views, they would see that legalization would drastically eliminate a lot of what they CLAIM is their reasoning behind making it illegal.

Regulations on prostitution would help keep down disease, crimes committed on these women and men, they would be more willing to get help for any addictions they may have, they would be more likely to come forward to report crimes, it would remove them from the prison system making room for real criminals like child molesters and rapists, they would now have to pay taxes on their earnings and would be contributing into society instead of being drains, and they could rely on the law enforcement for protection instead of abusive pimps and drug pushers. And after all, IT IS THEIR BODIES.

Why are there so many willing to go right along with those who want to mandate their view of morality? If a society never opens their mouth and just stay sheep, we will all be led to slaughter. Think to yourself, do you REALLY have an issue with prostitution, especially if it is regulated?!? Or has it been drilled into your head that prostitutes are bad people and this should be condemned? Are you thinking you don’t want to have your man/woman going to one so you want to ban prostitution?

In addition, porn is basically legal prostitution. It is the SAME thing people, with the exception of the acts being filmed and sold in a multi-billion dollar industry. So in reality as it stands today (excluding parts of Nevada) it is only legal to get paid for sex as long as you film and sell it. Wow, okay.

Oh, lest I forget, what do you think dating is all about?? Women are given things so they will sleep with the guy…um sounds a lot like prostitution to me. It is just more of a game instead of the sex part being right out on the table. How many of you have accepted dinners, flowers, gifts, and/or jewelry then slept with a guy and then you never see him again…??? I’m just saying, think about it?

Is It Wrong To Wish Death On Another

This is just a small post with a big question. Is it really wrong to wish for someone’s death, even those considered to be evil?

In some cases the answer seems to be, "No." Then I hear the word Karma in the back of my mind playing over and over again like a scratched CD.

I want to hope for the slow painful demise of child molesters and rapists. At times I want to know they are suffering more than their victims will have to suffer and relive every horrific moment over and over in their dreams and during every quite moment alone.

BUT...do I have the right? As a crime victim I say yes. As one that believes in Karma I am afraid to say yes. As a lover of humanity and rights for all the good creatures on this planet I say HELL YES!!

Those like Hitler, Bin Laden, Jim Jones, and every child molesting/rapist coward are only here to hinder and darken the growth and spirit of the rest of us. They want to feed on our light and souls, until the earth is full of nothing but the living dead.

So I feel in some instances it is perfectly acceptable and mandatory to hope for the death of others without Karma coming back to bit you in the ass.

Lesbian Plot to Force Hetero-Women to Abort Babies

Many are familiar with the Christian program, The 700 Club and its host Pat Robertson. What you may not be aware of, if you do not watch the show, is how extreme the 81 year old TV evangelist is against the homosexual community, even for right-wing conservatives.

He has made outrageous claims in the past, such as Haiti’s devastating earthquakes were the result of God’s punishment because long ago they made a pact with the devil. I know, what?!? He must have never seen Haiti and the poverty there. What could the pact have been; “Oh, please devil make us as poor as possible?” Ridiculous.

Everyone wrote him off saying, “He is just an out of touch miserable old man.” Now Robertson has gone on another bizarre tirade once again. This time it was directed at lesbian women.

Archaic Robertson along with co-host Terry Meeuwsen (aka his all-agreeing puppet), spouted that lesbian women for some strange reason cannot have children. Have they not heard of in vitro fertilization (IVF), not to mention all the other options for “having” a baby?

Pat says, “The far left is livid about killing babies. They want to do this. They want to destroy…If a woman is a lesbian, what advantage does she have over a married woman? Or what deficiency does she have?”

Meeuwsen robotically replies, “She can’t have children.”

Then Robertson goes on, “That’s exactly right. And so if these married women can’t, don’t have children; if they abort their babies, then that kind of puts them on a level playing field.”

WHAT?!?! There is no plot to guilt or force married heterosexual women into abortions. There is a plot however to breed hate and seethe distain toward fellow humans that just want the right to love.

It seems to me the only one who wants to destroy is Pat and his sidekick. They want to destroy the rights and the spirit of lesbian women struggling for equal rights.

Why does he have such a problem with gays? They just want to be able to be by the side of their loved ones on their death bed and not get kicked out after visiting hours are over. They just want to be able to marry the love of their life. They just want to have a family and grow old with their soul mate.

Why does this bother Pat so much and the other that are like him? Are they envious because they are too afraid to come out of the closet? Are they just hate mongers and since it is not “politically correct” to hate races, but it is still acceptable to hate sexual orientation, this is where they spew their hate laced message?

Pat Robertson is a prime example why the human race has floundered as far as TRUE advancement. We are still far too divided on the little things in life, like other consenting adult’s bedrooms, to ever obtain the ability to explore the reaches of space or cure cancer or AIDS. It takes a united world to have a truly advanced world society.

Maybe one day the gay/straight issues will be a non-issue. I would love to see this in my life time, but unfortunately it is doubtful.

WHY DO WOMEN FEEL THEY HAVE TO FAKE IT?

Women in many parts of this country seem to feel they have to put on an act just to be in interracial relationships…WHY?!?! And why aren’t these men offended?!?!

I have had several friends that have changed their whole personality when they are around their African-American boyfriends and change back to theirselves as soon as they leave or are around their family. This is just ridiculous.

My husband is Black-American as were many of my boyfriends in my dating years, and NOT once did I change my personality.

I have witnessed these “women” go from, “Hey how are you?” to “Waz up foo?” and back again. They must sit at home watching gangster movies and practicing Ebonics [Ebonics, another insult I will post about later].

Men should find this behavior as a huge insult. They should be asking themselves, “Why does this woman feel she has to act like she speaks sub-standard English just to be around me? Does she feel I am less intelligent than her?”

The other observation I have made is this is usually only with White-American women. For some reason they feel the need to fake it where women of other races do not.

I mean, do these women feel the men they are seeing are less than them in some way and can only relate to them if they pretend to speak Ebonics? Is it low self-esteem or a superiority complex?

Come on women, just be yourself and you may find the Mr Right you have been looking for instead of Mr. Wrong. How do you expect for the men you are seeing to respect or really know who you are if you are only showing the fake you?

I would really love to know the psychology behind this. Does anyone out there have any thoughts?

TWINS AND HOMOSEXUALS ARE THE RESULTS OF BIRTH DEFECTS?

There is a group of individuals that feel homosexuals just have a birth defect and/or are suffering a mental deficiency.

This thinking is born out of the medical definition of birth defect – “Any defect present in a baby at birth, irrespective of whether the defect is caused by a genetic factor or by prenatal events that are not genetic.” (from - http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=11042)

Well, going by this definition, twins are essentially defects. This sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? Twins are nothing but a birth defect.

It is just as ludicrous to attribute this unintelligent theory toward the homosexual community. I mean, if this world were to give into the archaic religious zealots, twins, triplets, geniuses, albinos, and homosexuals alike would all have to be stricken from the planet.

In 1973, the American Psychiatric Association agreed that homosexual tendencies were NOT a mental dysfunction or illness. Thus they removed homosexual as an illness from the, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Why can’t the religious and conservative dogmatists do the same? There are miles of medical research supporting that most gay people are in fact born that way.

If these religious based groups believe God is perfect and made and is in control of all thing; why is it so hard to concede that gays individuals are not mistakes or sinners any more that a twin?

Why do they okay some “sins,” such as drinking alcohol and premarital sex? Who are they to mandate their morals when, if God came down and asked for just ONE to come forward who is without sin, the world would not be able to move a muscle!

These same groups were the ones that were against interracial marriages a short 40 years ago. It was the Loving case brought to the Supreme Court that made it legal (more information can be found at www.lovingday.com).

My hopes are that one day the gay and lesbian community will have their own “Loving Day” as my husband and I do.
